Thacker Girls

These beautiful twin girls came all the way from Kentucky for me to take their senior pictures.....well not really. They came to see their brother before he leaves for Iraq. But they did drive all the way from Havelock for me to take their picture! We started their session downtown. It was extremely hot and humid! But they hung in there long enough to get some great pictures. The entire family was along for this shoot, we got some great family photos as well. We finished their session at the beach. The wind was whipping once again. I have just started proofing those pictures, so I will post them later. Had to sneak this picture of the little sister into this post.....she could pass for a senior too!

I just wanted to share a few more of my favorites from this past weekend. I absolutely love photographing babies....

Hilger Family

Last nights session was one of the easiest I've done. This cute family was so much fun to work with and little Miss "M" is adorable. She is so easy to photograph and such a good little model.

Wheeler Family

These two are hilarious! They had me laughing the entire session. Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks and they couldn't be more excited about her arrival. I am also excited to have the opportunity to create their baby's first portraits.

Rudolph Family

Friday night was my first beach session for the weekend. Thanks to some passing storms, the wind was horrendous. I really didn't think we would even be able to shoot, but, I was able to get some beautiful pictures of this good looking family. We will do a mini re-shoot next week when the wind is not so bad.

Baby Mackenzie

I had the pleasure of meeting this little beauty this morning. Just 10 days old and so alert. I won't have her entire session proofed for a few days, but I just wanted to edit a few that jumped out at me for a sneak peek for her mommy, whom I know is looking.

On our last day in WV, the kids actually cooperated long enough for me to get a decent group picture. I love the sun flare in the bottom two pictures.
