First Birthday

This was the third time I have had the pleasure to photograph this handsome little guy. He recently celebrated his first birthday and what better way than with cake. This session was so much fun, I'm still trying to get my background clean, but it was worth it. Thank you, Clayton family, for allowing me to capture this special time in your sons life. I look forward to working with you again.

Sneak Peek for Mary

I photographed this beautiful senior yesterday. We had originally planned on doing only drape portraits, but I couldn't just do that. So I sent her back home to get some more outfits and we did a whole session. Thank you, Mary, for being so much fun to photograph. And guess what, I have your session edited already, so your gallery will be up soon.

Megan and Anthony

I photographed this couple last weekend. These are from their engagement session. They are to be married in mid September. I have the honor of being their wedding photographer, I can't wait. We also did some bridal portraits of Megan, but I won't post them as to not ruin the surpise for the groom on wedding day.

Sneak Peek and Thank You

I had a session last night at the beach with the Balfanz-Gutierrez family (I know I didn't spell that right). Little Jack was sooo cute! Wasn't too happy towards the end, but we managed to get some great shots. As we were finishing up, we got back to out cars and I discovered that I had a flat! Mr. Gutierrez was great, he changed my tire in no time. Thank you sooo much! I have not started editing your pictures yet, but picked one to share with you. I will have your gallery up in a few days. Thanks again!

Busy Weekend

Long post.....
Friday...
My first session this weekend was with some friends from my husbands company. The McGhee family scheduled their session for only a few days before Dad was deploying to Iraq. We wish him the best of luck. I could'nt get over how blue her eyes were! And those curls! Could they be an cuter!?

They also brought along their neice who was visiting from Ohio. She decided she wanted a few Senior pictures taken on the beach.

Saturday....
I had the honor of being a judge at the First Annual Miss Priss Natural Beauty Pageant in Richlands on Saturday. It was so much fun seeing all the little girls in their pretty dress and looking so cute. This first little beauty was a big winner in her division.

I apologize to the parents who were not able to have their child photographed due to time restraints. If you would like to schedule a personal session, I will give you a discount on the session fee.

This little guy wasn't in the pageant, but his mom wanted some pictures taken anyway.

Sunday.....
My latest session was a maternity session on the beach. The Bonhams are expecting their first baby, a boy, in September. She had the cutest, tiniest belly! This Daddy to be is also deploying to Iraq soon. Please keep all these families in your prayers.

Cody class of 2009

Another great session with another great graduating senior. Cody and his family were visiting all the way from Ohio. They decided to go ahead and have his senior pictures taken while they were here. Not many seniors in Ohio will have portraits at the beach! We started out in downtown Jacksonville. The 98 degree temps didn't let us stay out for very long, but we did manage to get some great shots. We finished off with some beach shots. Thanks to Cody and his family for choosing me for your senior pictures.

Dakota Senior 2009

Here are some of my favorites from my most recent senior session. Dakota was very easy to work with, she needed no direction at all and was willing to try anything. As you can see from this first picture, she wasn't afraid to get a little dirty or wet, until she saw a crab beside her!
